Ashok brings close to 29 years of experience from the Agri input industry in both multinational and Indian conglomerates, with expertise in Sales & Marketing, Business development, strategic alliances, stakeholder management and Government alliances. He has been instrumental in setting up and heading business operations from inception and delivering on operational and commercial targets. His last assignment was with Ms Godrej Agrovet Ltd where he led the seeds division for the company.

He is a pharmacist by training with a PhD in analytical chemistry and was Chair of the Advisory Board for Rottendorf Pharma, a leading CDMO for solid pharmaceuticals.

He is passionate about sustainable agriculture and the role of new technologies in securing productivity while minimizing environmental impact. With previous executive leadership experience at CIBA-Geigy and Nelco, he now serves as Managing Partner of RK Associates, bringing extensive expertise in general management, marketing, and strategic consulting across Europe and India.
He leverages his entrepreneurial spirit and deep market knowledge to drive commercial expansion for the organizations he guides. He currently serves on the board of SML Industries in India and most recently joined the Plasma Waters Advisory Board. His extensive global governance portfolio includes serving as Chairman of the Board for Norway-based Agrinos, former board memberships at Boragen (RTP), Gowan Company (Yuma, AZ), Sajjan India, NACL Industries, and PI Industries, as well as acting as a former advisor to Oerth Bio (RTP).
